November Ceramic Workshop Angels or What It's Like to Fire Sculptures
Angelic Raku
Raku is not just about vessels. Abstract forms or sculptures feel very good in fire, which together with smoke, crackles or reduction make fired objects even more exceptional. November is conducive to nostalgia, melancholy, directing attention inwards. The need for creation and even greater expression arises and this is precisely what Raku firing does.
Please prepare 5 works. The works (all) SHOULD FIT on the surface of a circle with a diameter of 32 cm). This is important due to the capacity of the kiln.
The basic size of the work is: base from 5 to 12 cm in diameter, height up to 25 - 30 cm (important due to the height of the kiln). FLAT WORKS are not recommended.
Works fired to bisque. Preferably from clay with fireclay (e.g. Sio2 Prai, Praf, CJ 9 GS. SBK, wojatszek garncarska st4, Sibelco Raku, GS 468 and others with fireclay). Preferably light clays.
Polish the works well to horse hair and saggar.
You can also buy ready-made bisques from the studio (please inform me in advance (approx. 10 days)
Cost of 1 workshop - PLN 310
People who have already been to the workshop have a discount, the cost for repeaters is PLN 240.
Accompanying person 50% of the workshop price.
By booking we mean paying a non-refundable deposit to the account provided in the e-mail in the amount of PLN 100 for the workshop.

Small group of up to 6-8 people.
The works can be made in our workshop - date to be agreed or according to the schedule
Two-hour classes 100 PLN. The studio provides materials: clay and biscuit firing.
Also available is a package of 5 works from the studio - PLN 250.
In the workshop there is hot tea, coffee, cookies and nutritious dahl soup, dessert and whatever comes to the cook's mind.
Please dress in clothes that can be dirty, prepare pottery, and treats for feasting together.
