Obvara/Żurek/Bełtucha some call these techniques

Slavic Raku All these potions are based on

natural products such as sourdough or yeast,

flour, water and additives, which may be bran, flakes,

sugar and even oil. The ceramic is heated to

temperatures between 700 and 900 degrees, removed from the oven*

with special tongs* and poured, dipped, splashed.

The effect is beautiful browns, spots, interesting streaks. Depth

bronzes regulated by the temperature of the shell to stop

browning, you immerse the ceramics in water. These are old

techniques for sealing vessels. Currently used for

decorative treatments. After cleaning, the works are subjected to

waxing, e.g. with a mixture of beeswax and oil

linen.
